Top 10 locations for photos in Dubai
Do you like photos or Instagram feeds? Either way, I have the goodies for you. It’s been eight years since I first traveled the world alone and started sharing photos of my adventures online. That led me to a travel career (Yasu!) And about 80 countries around the world (Double Win!)
So if you’re like me and like to capture your trip in the form of photos, I have 10 of the best photo locations in Dubai for you. Include information on where to find them, when to visit, and secret tips for breaking into luxury hotels (joke!)
Burj Al Arab
Not so long ago i was standing Inside the only 7-star hotel in the world.. It was astonishing, as expected of a hotel with such a reputation. But the good news is that you don’t have to stay overnight to experience the luxury of 7 stars. The Burj Al Arab Spa is arguably the most impressive area of the hotel, and when you book a treatment, you will have access to the facility. Surprisingly, photography is allowed, so be sure to bring your own camera.
Palace Downtown Dubai
Of all my favorite hotels in Dubai that I have checked in for many years, the palace in downtown Dubai is one of my top three favorites. This beautiful hotel sets a spectacular backdrop in the heart of the town. You don’t have to stay here to visit. Instead, you can stop by when visiting the Dubai Mall.
Atlantis the Palm
Atlantis, The Palm is one of the most famous hotels in the world. Impressive resorts have plenty of photo opportunities to offer, but if you want the best views, drop them off at the private beach. The beach is open to guests only, but the crowd is still forming. This is one of Dubai’s busiest hotels, so to take a calm, uncrowded photo, you’ll need to visit at sunrise while the rest of the hotel is asleep.
Just as you can’t visit Rome without visiting the Vatican City, you can’t visit Dubai without visiting the desert of Dubai. These vast dunes have become a favorite photographing location in Dubai. It’s also a great way to bash the dunes in the afternoon to see 4×4 functionality. For the best photos, book a hot air balloon at sunrise and glide through the landscape easily.
Four Seasons Financial District
I discovered the Four Seasons Hotel in the financial district on my third visit to Dubai. It’s like a business hotel, but the rooftop pool is one of the most photogenic pools in the world. The background of Dubai’s clock tower is most often seen at sunrise when the desert sun shines softly.
One of Dubai’s most popular places is Jumeirah Beach. Here at one of the many beach clubs, many travelers and foreigners relax with a cocktail. It has a great atmosphere on weekends as it is one of the few places to drink in public. With the Burj Al Arab background, there is no mistake.
Al Maha Desert Lodge
to check in Al Maha Desert Lodge Pinch me, I have to dream of the moment. This gorgeous lodge feels like an oasis and a world away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Dubai. Each room features a private swimming pool, butler service and comprehensive activities in the dunes. All of this makes it harder not to want to leave!
The view from the top of Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world, is arguably one of the best photographing locations in Dubai. The 828-meter-high building is intimidating, to say the least. If you are not afraid of height, use the lift to a height of 148, which is 555 meters high. From here you can see the cityscape at dusk. It’s also a great time to visit the sunrise, which feels like it’s floating above the clouds before the sun rises.
Alpha Hidi’s Arabian Tea House
The Arabian Teahouse in the Alpha Hidi district is one of Dubai’s lesser-known photo locations, but one of my favorites. This beautiful teahouse shows the history and culture of Dubai in contrast to the new city. Alpha Hidi is a cultural part of the city where you can walk on empty streets, visit museums, buy small things and take them home.
In front of Burj Al Arab
With its unique architecture, Burj Al Arab has always been one of the best photo spots in Dubai. This impressive building, along with the impressive Burj Khalifa, is one of Dubai’s most famous buildings. To see from the water, take a boat tour or go out to sea on your inflatable boat.
