Unique five-star resort in Fiji Tabora Villa

Fiji, a destination known for its five-star resorts, depicts some of the most famous names in the hospitality industry. Sofitel To Shangri-La.. From private beaches to butler services, each offers its own luxury, but guests who prefer the charm of independent accommodation have less choice.

Tabora Villa The exception is. Overlooking Sub-Sub Bay, the family-owned retreat on 8 acres of private land offers many of the same facilities as a 5-star retreat, including a private heliport, infinity pool, and oceanfront suites (customized to your liking). Obviously a more playful atmosphere. “Coconut Bocchiball” is one of the recommended outdoor activities along with scavenger hunts and frisbees. The rope swing beckons to the front drive. It doubles as an instant skeleton play court.

Guests seeking a more traditional experience can find it, but as a truly private resort – Tavola only accepts one reservation at a time – it caters to those who enjoy customization. This is what you expect.

Tabora Villa

Designed by Australian architect Madeleine Blanchefield, the Tabora Villa is located directly above Subsab Bay and offers private access to the sea from the jungle gardens of Frangipani, Hibiscus, and Red Ginger. Constructed from eco-friendly minimalist design natural hardwoods, the 2-level, 7-structured compound can accommodate up to 10 people in a flexible configuration.

In the center of the villa is the upper floors, with an infinity pool surrounded by a shaded veranda with hammocks and chaise lounges. Chic common areas with high ceilings and lounge-style furniture face well-kept lawns, lazy with books from the villa’s eclectic library, intimate gatherings with friends, or thoughtful meditation. I spend a lot of days. This level also includes a chef’s kitchen, a covered dining area, and a master bungalow with a sundeck and private garden.

Downstairs, through a bamboo path, there are two additional bungalows, each with two bedrooms, a rain bath shower, and a veranda. Guests staying for a while can customize the villa’s composition to include a yoga studio, meeting space, personal office space, and even a recording studio.

Experience

Ideal for honeymooners, families, or business visionaries seeking inspiration, Tavola offers a truly private escape. No noisy neighbors, no need to book dinner (with sea views, indoors or outdoors). You don’t have to wait. Free hammock or kayak. Isolation is a dream for a close party and probably less attractive to a group of friends seeking socializing. The nearest social scene is 10 minutes in town Savusavu Has some fascinating bars, galleries, shops, and even farmers’ markets, but none are closer to larger resort bars or beach clubs.

But adventurous seekers can relax on Tabora’s private lands, which stretch out into the ocean for kayaking, swimming, and boating, and lush jungle landscapes full of hiking trails and waterfalls. Enjoy an “edible landscape” hike of bananas, passion fruit, pineapples, and avocados, or cool off by a secret stream that runs through the grounds. Just around the villa are well-maintained lawns for volleyball, frisbee, and, of course, coconut bocce. To fully explore the island, charter the villa captain’s boat for fishing and snorkeling.

The private atmosphere of Tavola Villa is similar to Airbnb, but the full-service experience is closer to a boutique hotel. Reservations include daily housekeeping, shower facilities, airport transfers, local fruits, homemade scones and granola, French press coffee, and a continental breakfast of herbal teas. Private chef service and freshly prepared meals can be added, or you can request a bespoke stock bar.
